2. Analyze Dr. Stockmann's motivation in revealing the truth about the polluted springs. Selfish or unselfish motives? Explain.

Dr. Stockmann's motivation in revealing the truth about the polluted springs was one of good morals and value. The way he brought it was was genuine. The small anecdotes he spoke of really caught my attention. The one that really got me was the platoon of soldiers walking down a road and one guy knows its a ambush and "one must know" before others can learn. This was a great metaphor in order for Dr. stockman to get the word out on his discoveries. When i listened to Him talk i was convinced i had strong feelings of hatred towards those that were blinded by the words of Peter. I couldn't beleive the ignorance of it all.Dr. stockmann's motives in my opnion were ery unselfish and he is trying to save the town from humiliation and death. If people die from going into the lake the whole town will suffer a much greater loss then rebuilding it for the next two years. Of course its easy to just shit on Tom's idea because everyone wants instant gratification.

  2. Joseph,
I do agree Dr. Stockmann’s morals were good, I was a little confused as to why you chose to support your post with the part of the platoon. Otherwise nice job on your post keep it up!
