Narrator: It’s a dark stormy October evening in a small town. Kelly and Janet just got back from a costume party at their classmates house. Kelly’s parents are out of town so the girls decide to crash at Kelly’s house and bring their dates Joey and Tommy with them.
Music: upbeat hip tunes!
Sound: laughter and the clinking glasses
Janet: Here is too a great night and Kelly’s parents being out of town.
All: cheer and toast each other.
Joey: ( looking at Kelly and Tommy ) Well if you two don’t mind I’m going take Janet upstairs and have my own party.
Narrator: Kelly and Tommy Laugh. Janet sighs and gives Joey a playful smack.
Janet: Goodnight guys. (Janet grabs joey’s hand)
Narrator: Janet and Joey exit the room and go down upstairs the spare bedroom. Kelly and Tommy are left in the living room alone.
Music: off
Kelly: Ugh. How dare talk to Sam Jacobson tonight.
Tommy: I don’t see what the big deal is. What now I can even talk to others girls besides you.
Kelly: You were totally flirting with her in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed.
Tommy: Oh knock it off Kelly you’re so insecure.
Narrator: Kelly is now infuriated she gets up off the couch and starts to walk into the kitchen. She suddenly stops when she hears a shierk form upstairs
Sound: pounding foot steps
Kelly: What was that?
Tommy: (laughing) w=you can seriously be scared. You know it’s just Janet and Joey trying to scare us.
Kelly: No Tom I know Janet and that was no joke.
Music: radio slowly playing old music eerie music from upstairs
Sound: eerie laughter from the outside the front door.
Kelly: Screams! Oh god this better not be a joke or I’m going to kill Janet.
Narrator: Tommy walks to bottom of the stair case with Kelly clinging to his arm.
Tommy: Hey guys it’s not funny anymore knock it off.
Narrator Laughter comes from upstairs in the darkness and the Silhouette of a person appears in the darkness.
Sounds: heavy breathing
Tommy: That’s it Joey I’m coming up there to kick your ass.
Narrator: Tommy starts to walk up the stairs to the mysterious shadow
Kelly: No Tommy! COMEBACK!

I like your dialog...very realistic...and the fact that you began with a party atmosphere and built the tension. Watch your mechanics and your run ons.
ReplyDeleteThe story line was phenomenal... made it seem like it could actually happen. you had a party and then a small argument with some sexual innuendos.. and then boom a large dark figure with screams. great job
